Cargill to build meat innovation center
Cargill Inc., one of the largest agricultural companies in the U.S., announced today it plans to build a new meat processing plant in Wichita, Kan.
The $14.7 million "Cargill Innovation Center" will be 75,000 square feet and will include culinary and lab capabilities and a pilot plant, according to Feedstuffs.com. Construction is scheduled to begin in July and be completed in June next year.
Cargill has been a client of Imaginatik since 2004 and has been deploying Idea Central across the entire company. In December 2008, Cargill launched its first-ever global idea campaign generating more than 1,800 ideas.
