Discussion Topic

Approaches for Ecosystem-Driven Innovation

Many large organizations – whether they are corporations, governments, or public institutions – yearn for broad-based innovation and change. Sometimes the objective is to create better functioning markets or industry value chains; in other cases it’s a more productive policy-setting environment (and so on). Yet most organizations find these changes extremely difficult to orchestrate – with tribalism and narrow interests typically overshadowing the larger common goals. This roundtable discussion will explore the use of ecosystem-driven innovation strategies to overcome these challenges and achieve the seemingly unthinkable.
